Using WLIFE

WLIFE (https://wlife.bio) is published by WLIFE MEDIA. You may read, link to and share our pages freely. You may not scrape the site, republish our content at scale, or use it to train machine-learning models without written permission.

Content ownership

Text, design, the WLIFE name and emblem, and the selection and arrangement of material on the site are owned by WLIFE MEDIA or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. Short quotations with a link and attribution are welcome; reproducing whole articles is not.

Photographers’ copyright

Photographs published on WLIFE remain the copyright of their photographers. WLIFE holds a licence to publish them in the context in which they appear; it does not own them and cannot grant you rights to them. To reuse a photograph, contact the photographer directly or write to us and we will pass on your request. Downloading, hot-linking or reproducing photographs from the site without the rights holder’s permission is not permitted.

Open-licence images

Some images, including the sample images on the preview version of the site, are reproduced under open licences such as Creative Commons. Each is credited according to the terms of its licence, with the photographer, source and licence named, and the full record is on the image credits page. If you reuse an open-licence image you must comply with that licence yourself; our credit line is the attribution you should carry forward.

Estimates and no warranty

Budgets, prices, seasons, wildlife timings, itineraries, access rules and equipment specifications on WLIFE are editorial estimates and guidance, accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication. They change. We give no warranty, express or implied, that they are complete, current or suited to your circumstances, and you should confirm every material detail with operators, authorities, manufacturers and retailers before relying on it.

Affiliate relationships

Some links on WLIFE are affiliate or referral links through which we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. They are marked and disclosed as described in our affiliate disclosure. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and the retailer or operator; WLIFE is not a party to it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WLIFE MEDIA is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including decisions about travel, purchases or fieldcraft. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law
